Synopsis

Alf marries someone else. And nobody wants Betti’s baby. The ballroom is jam-packed and the mood alarmingly good. Something is about to burst. The pregnant belly of deaf Betti? Her stepfathers’s patience? Or the wine-filled bladder of his ex-wife?

Biography

Rosa Friedrich, born in 1989 in East Berlin, studies directing at the Vienna Film Academy, exploring a playful and exotic approach to filmmaking. Her bachelor film “Topfpalmen” (2020) was invited to Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and nominated for the First Steps Award. She studied philosophy, psychology and film studies and led expressive dance and theater groups.
