Synopsis

Seeing his faithful friend quietly losing the battle against the disease, Jean-Pierre does not let things go. Because he's manual, he tries in its own way to give his friend a little more strength and courage. Knowing that his friend is a true believer of the Catholic religion, he decided to invent an appearance of the Virgin Mary.

Biography

Originally from Champlain in Quebec, Simon Laganière is a young director and musician. It is through fake documentary that he tells stories often inspired by real life. In July 2006, his film Richard de-Ville-Marie was voted best film at the Festival Documenteur in Rouyn-Noranda. He won the « Prix du Jury » at the contest Court in the Web with the same film. His film Normand From The Top won the Ex-Centris prize for the most promising short film.
