Shifting between striking close-ups, intimate details, and cars spinning around a racetrack, Les Beiges delicately captures the world occupied by a group of car enthusiasts in St-Eustache, Québec.

Biography

Now a graduate of Concordia University’s Film Production program, Étienne Lacelle presents his latest work “Les Beiges”. This short documentary explores the life of young drifting adepts in rural Québec. Winner of the Rencontres pancanadiennes du cinema étudiant at FNC and RIDM’s Soirée de la relève, he is now working in partnership with Radio-Canada to create a documentary in celebration of the 375th year of Montreal.
