Mathieu Arsenault studied cinema at the University of Montreal and L’INIS Film School. He also gave cinematographic education to youth in the cities of Marseille, France, as well as in Aboriginal communities in northern Quebec. He directed the short La lettre (2005), Aquariums (2007), Kagamiko (2008), L'insecte (2009) letter and Nathan (2012). His films have earned him numerous awards including Most Promising Director of a Canadian Short last year at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
