Synopsis

After five years together, a young mixed race couple decides they want to get pregnant. Throughout their relentless efforts, the partners try to maintain their love and unity. Making Babies is a minimalist comedy drama that takes a bittersweet look at a couple's life, with its doubts, its challenges, and the resilience of love.

Biography

Proud native of the Charlevoix region, Eric K. Boulianne left the countryside in 2002 to study cinema. A prolific screenwriter, he signs and co-signs around twenty features and short films, exploring both mainstream and auteur cinema. Making Babies is a return to directing in a more personal approach.
