Synopsis

Louis, defeated mayor of his small town’s latest election, has to bid farewell to his seat after twenty years of loyalty. Following his defeat, he goes trough a rough patch that leaves him confused towards his future. As events seem to conspire to remind him the bitter taste of his failure, he finds unlikely solace at his neighbour’s house.

Biography

Vincent Biron, in addition to his work as a cinematographer (Bestiaire, de Denis Côté), also creates films in which he plays with both form and the bittersweet aspects of human life. His short films, Little Flowers and Horrible Things, have both been selected in numerous film festivals.
