Synopsis

During the holidays, Denis finds himself spending Christmas dinner with his lover Carl's family. Fiercely Catholic and stubbornly traditional, Carl's family are completely unaware of their son's relationship with Denis. However, a psychological cat and mouse duel takes place between Denis and Ruby, the six-year-old spoiled rotten niece of Carl.

Biography

Born in Amqui (Quebec, Canada), Jean-Guillaume Bastien completed his studies in Film Production at Concordia University in Montreal. His last shorts film « Les dimanches (Sundays) », « Deja-vu » and « Je ne suis pas un grand acteur (I am not a great actor) » were shown in many international film festivals including Toronto International Film Festival, IndieLisboa, Los Angeles Film Festival and Edinburgh International Film Festival. He is currently writing his first feature film.
