Under the sweltering July sun, the phantom-like silhouettes of Mexican farm workers stand in the fields of rural Quebec. One of them, Gonzalo, a young father, is plagued by the desire to enter the wealthier world of the Québécois. His desire manifests itself in the purchase of an item that he would have never dared even dream of before.
